The National Organization of Peer Educators (NOPE) is committed to conducting all business in an honest and ethical manner, with a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption. We adhere to the highest standards of integrity and professionalism, ensuring our operations are transparent, fair, and compliant with all relevant laws.

  • Prohibited Actions: We prohibit the offering or accepting of bribes, facilitation payments, or inappropriate gifts.
  • Reporting: Employees and third parties are required to report any concerns regarding bribery or corruption to the appropriate director.
  • Red Flags: Be aware of red flags like requests for commissions before contracts are signed, demands for cash payments, or unusual invoices.

Whistleblower Policy

Our Whistleblower Policy enables staff to report activities they consider illegal or dishonest. We encourage all employees to report suspected malpractices and provide protection against retaliation for those who report in good faith.

  • Reportable Malpractices: This includes inappropriate financial management, sexual harassment, criminal activity, and other forms of dishonesty.
  • Confidentiality: NOPE is committed to ensuring confidentiality and preventing any form of retaliation against the whistleblower.
  • Protection: We protect those who raise concerns of suspected serious malpractice from dismissal or other detrimental treatment, provided the information is provided in good faith.
